Hi, guys! I cant find any information about nipolet's dimensions (SCH 160/SCH XXS). I need sizes of bore diameter and outside one. Or maybe these sizes are identical to the dimensions of SCH STD and XS?

From the bonney forge catalogue

anything more I suggest you contact them direct.

LittleInch I saw this catalogue but there is no information about bore and outside diameters. Anyway thank you for the fast answer

Same as the pipe it will connect to surely?

Agree. It should be the same as the pipe.

A nippolet is simply a single forging of a weldolet and a "nipple" , i.e. a short section of pipe. There's nothing fancy or complicated here.

What makes you think it would be any different than the piping?

Yes, you are right. I have been doubting because I saw these sizes for #3000 (STD/XS)

Thank youuuu, guys[smile]

Yes, just get your hands on any pipe wall thickness chart and you'll be able to determine the OD and ID.

Olesya,
Look up ASME B36.10 and you will find all your answers. Schedule and std will match for few sizes but not necessary for all. Originally pipes were manufactured to std, XS, XXS wall thicknesses which had limited option for manufacturer/ buyer, later SCH were introduced by the ASME Committee to give a broader manufacturing/ buying options with more wall thicknesses.
