New User Solidworks

I am a new user with solidworks and I am have a couple of issues on my initial setup. firstly when I model there is nothing on screen , I can only see what I have modeled after applying a material and then a scene. when I try and produce a drawing I can seen no text there is a dimension line but the text is not visiable

can any body help

I would suggest you look to see if your Graphics Card is supported, if not, at least make sure you have the latest drivers. If you are on support contact your VAR and they will run through and suggest things to do if not
