New foundation encroaching on existing

I have a detached addition where the existing columns of the pool deck are conflicting w/ the new foundation. The existing columns are on a deep pile, while the new addition will be on spread footings. I am able to avoid one of the columns, but not the one going through the main foundation. Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal w/ this conflict?

I guess the problem pile is the rotated square at section 17.

Some ideas in probably increasing difficulty:
1. Design the spread footing for the extra load of the existing deck.
2. Check the existing pile for possible additional load from the spread footing.
3. Expand your scope to redesign the existing deck to move the pile.
3. Convince the Architect to move the new build away from the existing.
4. Convince the Architect to straighten out the new wall so it turns 90° at frame line 5.

Maybe cut/rework your new foundation to miss the column, and design for an eccentric footing. Not all foundations are nice, beautiful concentric footings. You also might have to get creative and build a kind of moment frame to get above the existing pile cap, or span over it and deal with some increased bearing pressures.

I'd suggest finding a way to leap your new grade wall over the column/pile...terminating the shallow footings on either side of the pile cap and spanning across.

I'd also consider enlarging the spread footings on either side of the pile cap to ensure no settlement there....pile caps may have very soft material under them and adjacent to them.
