Neutralisation of Naphthenic Acid from Crude Oil. 1

Could I, please, get some help with how naphthenic acid can be neutralised? It has been proposed in my study that calcium hydroxide could be used to achieve this. Is this feasible? If so, what is the stoichiometry of the reaction and how cost effective is it?
