Need recommendations for constructing 3-D joint models of knee from Planar X-rays..what softwares are best for detailed modelling of knee joints (including ligaments, tendons, cartilage and meniscus) from planar x-rays??? Don't want to use image segmentation methods in MATLAB..not perfect in coding
Secondly need to do semi automated segmentation of ligaments of knee from MRI...Which software is recommended?

A single planar x-ray or multiple planar views? If the latter, there's some hope, but I think there's nothing off the shelf for that sort of thing

Didn't say it wasn't doable. Note, again, having a single x-ray can only give you 2D information, not 3D; you can guess at the 3D, but that's about it.
