I have a range of cells D27:MM28
Almost all of these have the text MWZ-6006 but a handful of them have something else.

I would like to use the conditional formatting formula so that if a cell does not say MWZ-6006, the font will become red.

Can anyone please tell me what that formula is?

Hello,

select the cells, select CONDITIONAL FORMATTING and select Cell Value is, NOT EQUAL TO, MWZ-6006, format as required.

Hope this helps.

been away for quite a while
but am now back

Use "not equal to" MWZ-6006 and format the font to be red.

Good luck,

Wow was that easy. I had selected by formula and was trying to figure how to write it that way. lol

Thanks

Specifically...
[tt]
=D27<>"MWZ-6006"
[/tt]

The rule for a CF formula is to reference with respect to the TOP LEFT cell of the selected range, which in this instance is D27 for the range, D27:MM28.

Skip,
