LP penetrant products are rated level 2 (medium), level 3 ( High ) and level 4 ( very high).
Most MT prepared spray is rated level 7-8, whether the brochure says medium or high sensitivity.
is there any relative equivalence possible between MT and LPT ?
Added info - in case it is known to make a difference for MT, the material we will be testing is HiChrome ASTM A532 Class III Type A ( 23-28% Chrome) and Class II Type B (14-18 % Chrome) abrasion resistant cast iron. A magnet sticks well to these parts.
