In Table 11A of the 2005NDS, it provides strengths for bolts parallel to grain, perpendicular to grain (side member), perpendicular to grain (main member), and just perpendicular. What is the last one refer to, both members perpendicular at the same time? I can't seem to find the explanation in the NDS
 
If you check the equations in Table 11.3.1A to get the values in Table 11A, the Re = Fem/Fes is where the four conditions come from. The Z perpendicular is based on the Re with the Fem and Fes using the perpendicular values of Fe.
