Can you select multiple boundaries for the one xref, or do you have to have an xclip boundary per xref? What i want to do is have one xref with multiple boundaries.

The straight forward answered would be that you can't do it. But you can have two copies of the same xrefs, each with their own boundary. You don't have to insert it twice, just copy it when it's already in the drawing.
