We are converting over from Pro-E to Inventor and I'm looking for some functionality or a work around to match Pro-E flexibility.

I have a close-coupled pump& motor modeled in a family table (Pro-E's iPart). The model has the plane that controls the rotation of the motor relative to pump defined as flexible. This means that I can insert the pump multiple times in the same assembly with each one shown with the motor in a different rotation. My BOM still shows the total number of pumps I have in the assembly and I don't have to create additional instances in my family table (iPart table).

Does Inventor adaptivity offer this capability or is there a work around?
