I'm having a heck of a time adding multiple leaders to balloons in an assembly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work worth a hill of beans. It's very frustrating, any ideas why this happens??

try zooming in and out away from the balloon and then try again.

which method are you using? are you adding a branch to the balloon? or adding a leader and then trying to attach it to the balloon?

also SW version and SP.

I'm adding a leader to an already present balloon. SW 2008 SP 3.1.

Have you tried holding down the Ctrl key, then dragging the leader arrow?

You can right click on the balloon's leader and select "insert new branch"

I've been trying the "hold down ctrl key" and dragging but sometimes it will work but it seems as though it doesn't a lot of the time. It's very frustrating.

uGlay: I'll try the right click method you said.

what service pack>?

Can you always create an extra leader when you drop it onto the same part the original leader is pointing to?

Are you sure the part you are trying to point the extra leader to is the same part and configuration as the original part?

[cheers]
