MTEXT IN ACAD 2005 FREEZING UP 1

AFTER SEVERAL ENTRIES IN ACAD 2005 MTEXT, THE PROGRAM FREEZES EVEN WHEN OPENING UP A NEW DRAWING? WHY AND WHAT CORRECTION IS AVAILABLE?

One possiblity is that one or more ACAD files have become corrupted. Under files>drawing utilites select recover. Hopefully, this command will restore your files or say they are corrupted. If ACAD system files are corrupted and not recoverable then I would suggest that restalling ACAD on your system. Hope this helps.
