What is the difference between using a MPC link constraint between 2 nodes vs connecting the 2 nodes with a wire and then assigning a MCP link connector section to that wire? Will it give me the same answer during analysis ?

I think the outcome will be the same.

With a connector you can get history output to check whats going in the element. The MPC however might be slightly faster in the analysis. But I think with the hardware today you need to have thousends of them to actually see a performance difference.
