Moving License Server to a New MAchine

My question is do I need to do anything other than plug inthe dongle, and install the license manager software on the new server to get the license manager running?

Yes, you'll need to go to each client machine and change the license server location so that it points to the new server. Go to your Solidworks Tools -> SolidNetWork License Administator and add the other location. Go to the server list tab and add it there.
