Moving a fixed component for a drawing 1

I've got a large assembly with several sub assemblies and I want to generate some drawings with some components moved. I can create an exploded view for the linear moves but I want to rotate some elements (showing some doors opened). The doors are fulled mated but even if they were free they are in a sub assembly so I couldn't move them easily. Any ideas.? SW2009 SP5

Have you tried making the subs Flexible? See the Help files.
