Motor connection inotation

I have been asked by a “Friend” to reconnect a motor on an air compressor. The compressor was bought “second hand”. The notation on the four motor terminals are :
A, Z, AZ and T

I have assumed this is a single phase 240 Volt 50Hz a.c. motor. I have had experience with 3 phase motor systems, but have not come across this type of notation. Any information would be appreciated.

Suggestion: Assuming that the marking is original and unique, the only way to find out is by tests and analysis.
