Can anyone suggest me for saddle support design of vessel?
Vessel diameter is 4500mm and T.L to T.L length is 27400mm. Client requires 6nos. Of saddle supports.

Why not try a search on saddles or Pressure vessel saddle on this site (Search is on top right).

You get (now a few years old) things like this


FEA and structural design of your quite large vessel would seem appropriate and also knowledge of the foundations.

To get any feedback people need a lot more than one and a half lines.

Things like
Your role and experience
Design parameters
what EXACTLY is your issue / question / uncertainty
some drawings / diagrams / analysis already completed

Trouble is with more that two saddles prediction of load distribution on each saddle is virtually impossble due to tolerances/indeterminicity
 
This sounds like a LNG "Bullet" Storage Vessel (14'-0" +/- x 90'-0" Tangent to Tangent)
Some years back I was involved in a project to install 4 of these and they only required two (2) Saddles each.


Sometimes its possible to do all the right things and still get bad results
 
"IF" (and a big "if" needs to be emphasized) the client is demanding that long a vessel is supported at multiple point by saddle supports, then the client must be willing to pay for the considerable civil engineering and structural design needed to ensure all 6 of the saddles are equally uniformly supported underneath and that all six saddle support will move exactly in the required straight line and parallel to the tank centerline over the life of the horizontal pressure vessel.

It is not enough to "assume" the tank centerline is supported by six "equal and constant" forces at each saddle, but the "bottom" of each saddle must be supported somehow on the dirt and rock and gravel of the site to keep all six saddle foundations from moving with respect to each other. Else, the middle of 6 supports moves up, or one end moves down, or both emd move down but the middle remains fixed, and the tank is bent is half as it tries to cantilever the end, lifting not only the tank steel, but every "low" saddle and that saddle's foundation.

Stick with two supports. ribs on the tank (external) can help, but are not often used. Usually, it's cheaper to increase tank walls slightly.
 
I agree with all of the comments above..... With a proper engineering evaluation, the two-saddled design is the correct solution

Highly successful designs for a horizontal bullet tank of approximately your dimensions have been done for decades.

Ask the client how he came up with his number of saddles .... Ask him to show you other six-saddled vessels in the field.....

Did the number six come to him in a dream ????
