I am currently looking for a good software for the design of telecommunication sructures, aka steel monopoles with 12 r 18 sided taper tubes. I have used RISA tower software and PLS-POLE software. Anyone else knows of other softwares available. I would like to see something with a capability of use excell spread sheets.

You will probably have to write your own. That's what we did. Actually it is not very difficult.

Do you sell yuor program. I have no computer programming skills at all. What did you use for your software. visual basics?

Do you know Excel? If you do you'd be surprised what you could do with a little bit of effort put forth providing your calculations are based on something simpler than that of the FEM.

The PLS-POLE program can design single column poles using a brute force method. Have you tried it? The nice thing it brings is the ability to do EIA/TIA loading automatically.
