Is anyone outer aware of fire sprinkler requirements for Modular Buildings in California? Preliminary research points me to NFPA 101 but I don't have a copy of this code in the office. I have two modular buildings that will be used for a daycare facility. I've contacted a couple of modular building manufacturers but awaiting answer. Your input is greatly appreciated.

You need to deterine what building code has been adopted in the location where the project is located.

Day care facilites are Group I-4 in the International Building Code.

The fire spinkler requirements are driven by occupancy.

You may also have to check that the municipality has not enacted more stringent requirements-it is not unusual in CA.
