Modelling a nut using expressions - Threaded hole

Hi all,

I was wondering if any NX experts may be able to help me with the last piece of the puzzle. I am trying to create a model of a DIN 439 nut (and will use this template to make other nut models), where I fully control the size of the part by the thread size. I have included the part in this thread.

So far, I have created the part where I have three expressions:

Head across flats
Length
Thread size

I can control every feature of the nut by using just the thread size... Except for the actual threaded hole itself. I was wondering if someone could kindly explain how I can add the threaded hole size to a type of expression (in the user expressions would be great if possible), then just change this one value and the rest of the model will update. I am so far only interested in standard metric coarse threads from M3 - M12.

Use a family table with your 4 main columns: head across flats, Height, Nominal thread size and hole size. Make the nominal thread size the selection or driving column. Add a column for part number if you assign them to your nuts.

Hi, sounds like a great suggestion... If I'm honest though, I have not worked much with the family tables at all. Could anyone give me a few hints of how to set it up (or perhaps add it to the above file for me?)?
