I am working on a project to design an intake manifold for a small race car. Does anyone know how to model the opening and closing of the cylinder valves from the intake? I am trying size the runners from the plenum using resonance tuning through Solidworks, but I'm not sure how to make the outlet boundary condition resemble a valve opening and closing at a certain frequency. Any advice is appreciated!
