Hi,

I have two simulations with a common part. The 2 simulations have different loading and fixture conditions.
I would like to compare FEA results for that part only since the other parts differs. Thus, I need the same mesh for that part only for all simulation cases.
Is there a way to impose the same mesh geometry (same node coordinates)?

Thanks.

Why not just copy the simulation case or even the whole file and change the settings as needed ?

Sure, I can copy everything. However, there is no control on the meshing algorithm. I mean by that:
- If I change a condition, the mesher may change the mesh geometry accordingly.
- There is no garantee that the nodes will have the same node numbers even is the mesh is the same

So my point is to be able to keep the exact same mesh despide changing the conditions.
