Hello!

I will be grateful if someone can describe how to model a mechanism(for instance four bar mechanism) by sceleton in Pro/E 2000i.How do I sketch for sceleton in Assembly mode?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,Vaso

The skeleton method just means setting the layout of an assembly with basic features (mainly datums, axes, curves & points).

For example, you could create a skeleton part and add an axis at each of the joint locations.

Then assemble your links on to the joint axes...

One benefit of a skeleton is that you can remove/change parts without the rest of the assembly failing.
