ok, I'm a 2d acad user, but want to start 3d modeling with it. Now the only other modeling program I've used has been 3d studio max which has 4 views all at the same time on the screen: top, left, front, and perspective. This is really helpfull. The only way I've been able to simulate this in Acad has been in paperspace with four viewports on the paper each with its view like in 3d studio. It's ok, but I wanted to know if there is a "legit" way of doing this, deviding model space into 4 simultaneous views

I'm using 2004

While in model space type viewports and a prompt will pop up asking you how you would like to divide the display.

Good Luck
