model color with dwg export

dear Friends


can anybody tell me how to get the modelcolor as in proe drawing, when get exorted to dwg format.


Suppose u create the proe drawing with modelcolors ,and I want to export the proe drawing to acad(dwg) format.But when it exported to dwg format the drawing colors are in white, But I want it withe same color as in proe drawing mode.


any help, I will be really obliged.

If you export to iges format the color will be exported too.

Export your drawings to AutoCAD. In AutoCAD.. Tools>qselect>linetype>continuous for the entire drawing. This would give you a selection set containing all the visible edges. put them on a layer defined in AutoCAd. This may not be a Proe way but then it is certainly an AutoCAD way to do it.


When you export a Proe drawing all the entities are exported to Layer "0" of Autocad.
