Hi All:

I have been out of the PV field for a while, and consequently don't have access to ASME Sec VIII div 1.

I seem to recall that there is a minimum volume above which a vessel working under vacuum must be "U" stamped.

Is this correct, and if so could someone tell me what that volume was?

Thanks

Thanks! - that solves the issue.

U stamp for vacuum design is optional, not mandatory regardless of volume. See U-1(c)(2)(h) and UG-28(f).
