Minimum Steel Spandrel Flange Width

In our office, we typically use a minimum 5 1/2" spandrel flange widths for composite construction to allow for a 3/4" headed stud, and 2" of bearing for a bent plate.

This allows for a tiny bit of slab edge adjustment into the building, and usually 1" out of the building.

I'm curious what other firms use. Anyone?
