On my previous work computer, I used to use a free website to retrieve mil-std specs. They were usually cancelled specs with control going over to ASME, but they were still very usefull. When I tried accessing the site this morning, a page appeared that said "You are not authorized to view this page". The IP address of my computer is on a list of addresses which are denied access. Has anyone else seen this? This is a new computer, so I don't know why the IP would be listed. Or maybe big brother is just flexing his muscles a little more.

I wonder if you initially subscribed to a free
service under your old computer.
Were you give an opportunity for a free subscription?

I was given the opportunity, but the password never worked (at least so I thought). That may indeed be the situation.

Thanks! That gets me in. I don't know how the other address was saved to my favorites as it was, considering it doesn't work.

They keep changing the URL. It was that one for about 2 yrs
