Microstation V8 text dropped when saving to V7

I just tried saving one of my Microstation V8 files to V7 and re-opened it. All text is intact when opening in V8i and Bentley Viewer XM. I don't have a copy of V7 to open with so I can't test that.
Are there any errors in message center? My guess would be some sort of font issue.
