Micro-Piles?????

Who came up with the term "Micro-pile"? When I think of micro I think very small, say millimeters. I'm going to continue to use "Grouted Piles". Just saying!!!

Doubt it was the FHWA but here you go.

For a little while they were called minipiles in the New England area.
