Hello everyone,

This is my first post. I hope some of you can shed some light on this. I attached a PDF file of a drawing of 2 boring bar mounting surfaces on a lathe turret. I need to design a special holder to go on one of these surfaces but I'm having trouble interpreting the Metric GD&T. My company does all work in INCH so this is new to me. I can handle doing to the easy conversions for linear dimensions, but I'm having trouble interpreting the hole sizing and tolerance range (and the Japanese characters don't help either!).

I bubbled in RED which ones I need clarification on. There are 3 large bushed holes and several tapped holes. The smaller tapped holes have got to be pipe threads because they are used for coolant (hence the PT designation). The 7 large tapped holes are for regular socket head cap screws. Please help!

Thanks

Of course I have no idea what Japanese characters mean, but I can help you with H7 symbol.
It means that the tolerance for diameter of hole 24 is: +0.021/-0 in milimeters.

Also, Table 2 of Allowances and Tolerances in the 25th Machinery's Handbook.
