Mechanical Properties of 1060 or 1566 Steel?

We use precision ground and case hardened shafting made of 1060 or 1566 steel. I am trying to find the tensile and yield strength of either of these grades.

Thanks for any info anyone can offer.

You need to state what the hardness is for both the case and core, as well as the depth of the case. Basically, the tensile strength of the case will be much higher than the core.

I checked Matweb initally. No luck on those grades.

McMaster-Carr end up coming through. They are awesome.

For reference 1060/1566 grade:

Tensile: 335,000 PSI-Case; 100,000 PSI-Core
Yield: 250,000 PSI-Case; 75,000 PSI-Core
