Hello,

I created an assembly in superdraw mode. The assembly has 2 parts. When I transfered it to FEMPRO "MES" and established a surface to suface contact; the default mode goes to "Bonded" and does not give me an option to make it "free". Obviously my simulation did not work.

Can anyone help me indentify my mistake here? My understanding is that an MES by default has to assume a "free" contact mode, but its not doing it in my case.

Like I mentioned earlier it did not give me an option to change to "free". how do I change the model to assume free contact before creating surface to surface.

Thanks.

Hmmmm...started in SuperDraw? Some things don't translate, but I've really tried to get away from SuperDraw. With only two parts, can you rebuild it in FEMPRO? Or can you set up the contact parameters in SuperDraw and transfer it with the contact information already established?
