mechanica/thermal weld help

We want to analyze welds on tubular parts. We would like to be able to get some results of residual stresses due to welding the components together. Does anybody know of some training materials or reference books that are out there that could get us started? From what I see the Mechanica Structure/thermal training that PTC offers does not get in-depth enough for this. Does anybody know of any Pro/E consultants that I could contact regarding this?
