looking for data on ASTM A-500 grade B pipe , client wants to use in 8" nozzle on code vessel , I can't find a ref. in ASME list of materials, anyone know of cross reference to pipe codes

The ASTM A500 is not a code approved material for pressure retaining service.
 
A-500 is structural tubing, primarily square and rectangular shapes and cannot be used (seer metengr). Client needs his head examined!
