The PROE .mat file label says "mass_density = " yet the MCAD units for mass are Pounds (a force) for steel and what appears to be gramsforce for ABS.

I am so confused

Is the mass in PROE supposed to be in force units or in mass units?

Thanks for any help understanding this.

To be more specific:

By "MCAD units" I mean the units in the materials files on this website.

Specific reason for asking: I want to make sure the mass properties are correct for MDO analysis as well as when using PROE to export 3D models to other software.
