I have a problem when saving creo file. When I click on save. Creo parametric only generate a wrong file folder with the name of "XXX-part.Number". It cannot be open by creo. So all changes are lost. So frustrated.

That's how Creo saves files. It creates a new version with numbered extension.

This is correct file name for Creo "outsideframe_p2.prt.256"
Every time you save a part it will increment the number ".256", next time you save it will create ".257"

If you go to open from Creo, default is the latest (largest number).
If you want to see or open older versions, from Open dialog box, click on Tools > All Versions. This will show you parts with version numbers.
