Friends will I get away with using Stainless Steel tanks at 50 degrees C with ~40g/L Sulphuric acid?

Stainless steel type 304 is generally unsuitable. Type 316 may be used at room temperature in acid concentrations below 20% and above 85%.

Alloy 20 is suitable below 65% and above 85%. Between 65-85% it can be used to 50°C.

Cheers

Luis
