Hi

I trying to find out mechanical properties of nickel based alloys, and a material called REX448. Fracture toughness, Larson Millar parameter would be particularly useful.

REX is a Carpenter trade mark for tool steels so you best bet is give them a try.

I have several tool bits in my shop with the name REX but no numbers.

There are several companies across the world who have used the "REX" designation. In the UK the REX series were high temperature alloys used in power generation.
