I am looking for a stainlees steel that is 8mm hex with minimum hardness 34HRC or 321 brinell suitable for machining in sliding head machines. The parts have to pass a 75nm torque test. Any ideas?

Hi, you might want to try another forum if you are still looking for information. This one is not very active or may not be the right one for your question.

I suggest that you try Mechanical Engineering other topics, Metal and Metallurgy Engineering, or Material Engineering other topics forums.

Double posting is frowned upon. Please see FAQ 731-376 for the rules.

Good Luck
