Mass Concrete Spec.

I was wondering if anyone has good verbiage to add to 03300 - "Cast-In-Place Concrete" spec. for prevention of thermal cracking due to Mass Concrete.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ACI 301 (Specifications) has some relevant information. And you need to be concerned with more than thermal cracking if you have mass concrete. I would require a thermal control plan if you have mass concrete, just so that all aspects are evaluated.
