Could someone please explain what a Marsden nut is? Our charts just say Marsden locknut, but the shop complains that they spin on with no resistance.

(I did a Google search and turned up lots of people named Marsden including some that were nut cases.)

Thanks

The Marsden Lock Nut is a free running locking nut. That is it's selling point. I'm still trying to find my literature on the nut.
