Hi,

I was wondering if you would know if there is a need in industry for the following technology: a sensor pair that can wirelessly measure 3D displacement and rotation, through solid materials (concrete, air, water). The technology is embeddable in those materials and can be used either for long-term monitoring, or high-rate, dynamic process measurement.

I have developed such a technology and would like to find potential clients.

Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure air and water are not solid materials so I would like to see this.

Have you compared your product against standard AMR sensors that work with magnets to detect rotation?

No idea about industrial applications but a lot of late model high-end motorcycles are using a sensor called an "IMU" which is a 6-axis accelerometer. A GPS can do some of this, too. (Some of them have both the IMU and a GPS, so it knows where it is and what it's doing.)
