Okay folks, I am trying to remember if a person can manually insert a Weight Value into a NX 7.5, versus using a bogus density value with a volume in a NX 7.5 file. There was a such process back in NX 6.0, a few clients ago, I seem to have misplaced my notes. Any hints?

Yes, that capability is still supported in NX 7.5 (and all newer versions). You can find it at...

Analysis -> Advanced Mass Properties -> Advanced Weight Management...

...and select the 'Work Part' button in the section of the dialog labeled 'Assert Values' where you'll find several different schemes for 'asserting' user defined values for Density/Mass/Volume which will be assigned to the current Work Part.

or you can tweak the density of the solid body to get the weight that you need

Thanks fellas, going to have to try when I get back to work on Monday.

Thanks John, that worked. Now I can deal with 'black box' vendor parts, and still have a decent weight rollup scenario in NX and Teamcenter with the assemblies that use that part.
