Making detail views in a Drawing File ? 1

Does anybody know how I can have a detail view, with a projected view. I can do this in Pro Engineer, but for some reason I can't do this in SW2006?

I just made a drawing, dropped in a model view, made a projected view & then made a detail view off the projected view... No problem. Maybe I misunderstood you... Can you clarify?

Make the detail view and then make a projection view of the detail. I'll attach a .jpg or .bmp if that helps ? But I have no idea if I can attach a file to this posting.

Don't think that'll work... As an alternative... Make a whole view, scale it up, then crop it.
