Hi guys,

I've trying to make a drop down menu in a "Pull Face" feature.
The objective is to have a M6 screw as a MASTER and with the drop down menu choose the length that I need (from the standarts available) and save it as a new part to use in an assembly.
Is this possible or is there any way of doing something similar?

I'm using NX12.

Thanks in advance,
Marco

Have a look at PTS (Product Template Studio)
Product Template Studio

It requires (of course) a license. Other way would be to create code for it.

Thanks Ronald...
I guess I'll do it some other way ...

Did you try making it a User Defined Feature? That would allow you to alter the length infinitely or select from a specific list of standard lengths.

Hope this helps,

RJ

Thanks,

This is what the Re-Use library is built for.
Screws found in the Machinery Library are Part Families which can be a hassle.

I've scabbed a lot of those fastener parts and turned them into my own re-use parts minus the part families.
They just clone into your assembly and active design folder.
