Make Text Size Permanant in Drafting

How do I make my character size stick in drafting? I select my dimensions and set the character height and the next time I use it it defaults back.

Preferences --> annotation --> Select the lettering tab. This should change it in that drawing. You can set it also in your file utilities customer defaults. Also you can set it in your drafting template.
