I have found a awesome source of online technical information. The US Army Corps of Engineers has created a website for putting all of its Technical manuals, books, pamphlets, letters, etc. online. From my browsing they have info on just about everything related to construction and civil engineering. The starting page is:
Hope everyone finds this as useful as I have.
PS. TO any and all personnel of the Corps of Engineers. A big THANKS. Bravo Zulu.
I've used it too and agree with your characterization of Magnificent. I only wish that all tax-supported agencies (including universities) were as open with their resources. It seems that the trend is to "privatize" distribution and then charge us the high bucks for something we already paid for through taxes. (I should say here that there are other tax-supported sites that are just nearly as generous -- To them, a big THANKS.)
You might also look at the Florida DOT site ( <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> )
