MACRO & FORMULAS language conversion

hi to all,

i have some excel sheets with formulas and macros written in italian under a version for windows

if i open these files using an apple excel version on my MAC, the program do not recognize formulas and code lines written in italian

let's say the function 'sum' in english corresponds to function 'somma' in ialian, do i have to rename and translate all the formulas?

how can i upgrade excel on my MAC, is there any additional component to install?

not unless you want to convert your configuration into Italian. Since you have the source code, you might just copy in a text editor, make the changes and copy it back in.
