My purchasing department is having a hard time locating the subject bolt. Does anyone have a source worth checking that you could point me to?

Thank you!

An alternative could be a stud with two nuts?

Regards

No luck finding B8M nuts either...

Where are you located? I can provide a few suppliers in the EU.

We are in the USA. I'm not opposed to exploring international options.

Okay, I’ll provide some leads tomorrow when I’m back at my desk. What type of bolt are you after? which standard? Does it have to be cut or rolled threads? For nuts I’d go with A194 grade 8MA, as they better fit with B8M studs (I think it’s industry standard). And, B8 class 1 or class 2?
Is this for a code application?

Yes, this is an VIII-1 application. I only need the subject bolt as the vessel is using a bolting pad.

I prefer rolled threads, but I'm at the mercy of availability at this time.

Threads to be per ASME B1.13M, 6h/6g thread class.

Thank you!

Try TS-Verbingsteile. So far they've always delivered my needs, regardless of bolt or stud type, material, garde, etc. Maybe their new product HiMo88 is something so consider, but Im not sure if such bolts are allowed under VIII-1 applications.
A few (local) Dutch suppliers I also use are BEA, Stokvis Trading and Metrik (no English version available Im afraid). Otherwise, these guys from England deliver as well.

Im sure most, if not all, of them can provide you with a good quotation, just not sure if it will fit your schedule.

Thank you for the information, we'll see what we find out!
